Waiting can be excruciatingly painful. Morgan Gold knows this all too well. Feeling stagnant can eat away at even the most patient people, but she’s made it entirely too far to give up now.
Gold sings with a heaviness for much of the track, and the vocal effects she uses amplify this feeling. However, she fights the darkness by continuing to move.
Remaining in the same spot in a season of uncertainty makes life’s challenges much more difficult. Gold, however, has chosen to focus on the things she’s capable of controlling. By doing so, she finds a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. That light reveals itself at the end of the song as well. Gold knows her future is bright, and she’s made it clear that there’s much more in store.
